La Savoyarde (hotel)
It is just 200m from the foot of the slopes, the Olympique and Solaise gondolas, and the ski school meeting point. The hotel rightly prides itself on the friendliness and helpfulness of its staff and the quality of its service.
Facilities here include a spacious, comfortable and atmospheric lounge/bar with open fire; a small spa area with sauna, hammam and Jacuzzi (Ayurvedic massages also available – bookable and payable locally); ski lockers with boot warmers; free WiFi throughout the hotel.
Often the highlight for the Savoyarde’s many regular guests is the very highly rated and attractive restaurant, where an à la carte menu is served, in addition to the excellent 5 course half board dinner, which invariably includes an exceptional cheese board, featuring a wide choice of local Savoyard produce. The wine list is extensive though approachable. Breakfast is an extensive hot and cold buffet.
Parking may be pre-booked (subject to availability) at the independently managed underground Parking du Centre, just 50m from the hotel (112€ for 8 days/7 nights in winter 17-18).
The 50 guest rooms are tastefully decorated and well-appointed in traditional alpine style, with extensive use of wood. All have satellite TV, safe, hairdryer, wc and bathrobes and slippers.
